Submit your costume for evaluation.
Most accepted costumes earn enough Spotlight Points to immediately reserve another costume of similar quality, condition, and value.
Every costume is individually evaluated based on quality, craftsmanship, condition, and overall value to ensure fair exchanges for all members.
2. Reserve Your Next Costume
Use your Spotlight Points to choose from hundreds of curated competition costumes.
Reserve the costume you love—without negotiating prices or waiting for a buyer.
3. It's Yours to Keep
This isn't a rental.
Once you reserve a costume, it's yours to own.
Wear it. Love it. And when you're ready, you may even choose to contribute it back to Spotlight Collective to earn Spotlight Points again.

Most accepted costumes earn enough Spotlight Points to reserve another costume of similar quality, condition, and value.
Occasionally, a costume requiring significant cleaning or repair may receive a modest point adjustment before points are awarded.
How are Spotlight Points determined?
Each costume is individually evaluated based on quality, craftsmanship, condition, design, and overall value.
Our goal is simple: to make every exchange as fair as possible.
What does it cost?
There is no membership fee.
We charge $24.99 per reserved costume to cover inspection, professional photography, quality control, shipping, and handling.
When can I reserve a costume?
As soon as your costume has been received, evaluated, and Spotlight Points have been added to your account.
Can I share my Spotlight Points?
Yes.
Spotlight Points can be transferred to another member, shared with your dance studio, or donated to one of our nonprofit partners.
Can dance studios participate?
Absolutely.
Studios can contribute costumes, earn Spotlight Points, and reserve costumes just like individual members.
What happens if my costume doesn't meet Spotlight Collective's collection standards?
Every costume deserves a future.
If a costume doesn't meet our collection standards, we may be able to donate it through one of our nonprofit partners, helping another dancer take the stage.
